My first project when hired as the Director of Communications in 2019 was to create clear and concise branding standards for all school departments, sports teams and media use. Prior to the creation of my position, there had been no presence of standards within how our brand was used in our school and outside of our school.
The Connection Magazine - Winter 2021
One of my responsibilities as the Director of Communications was the planning, designing, writing copy and photographing for our bi-annual publication "The Connection," which was for both alumni and friends of the school. This 28 page publication was our way to recap the past six months of the school year in every department and a way to promote various individuals within our school community through featured stories.
I created this program booklet before my final year as the Head Baseball Coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary as a way to create a specific level of cohesiveness within the program. The booklet is an all-inclusive document that houses our team philosophies, policies, goal setting, terminology and even a "mental game" workbook that we worked through together.
In May of 2019, St. Vincent-St. Mary began preparing for its next five year strategic plan. This document is a collection of the many months that faculty and staff, parents, alumni, community members, board members, and professional experts were brought together to create the vision for the school for the next five years.Â
